"The SHINSAVER is an innovative new product and a complete new way of protecting your shins and legs when coming into contact with the nasty sharp edges of a protruding towbar on a motor vehicle, which I am sure we have all done at some time.

The product which has a registered design and registered trademark was an invention from Sydney Engineer and businessman Ken Mason.

During a family scout camp one eastertime at Kangaroo Valley south of Sydney the inventor knocked his shins on 3 different towbars during the 4 day camp. On returning to Sydney a search of automotive spare parts & accessory shops revealed that there was nothing on the market to solve the problem of how to protect your shins from danger and properly cover the towball at the same time.

The SHINSAVER was designed and developed to meet this need.

It protects your shins and covers the towball and ensures the grease on the ball is kept covered to also protect your clothing (what you save on drycleaning bills will pay for it). It is paticullary usefull in small garages when you have to walk behind the car in a confined space.

SHINSAVER enhances your vehicles styling and you may wish to use aerosol paint to match it to your cars colour.

The SHINSAVER is manufactured in Sydney from UV stabilised Polypropolene and comes moulded in black."
